Diesel Motorcycle Rally - The Big Knock

Info: We are pleased to announce that the 2012 British Diesel Motorcycle Rally is all set for the weekend starting Friday 1st of June at the Bat & Ball. You are welcome to come earlier and/or stay longer this year as it's an extended Bank Holiday with Monday & also Tuesday being national holidays here in the UK with the Queens Jubilee. If you own a new Track T800CDi or any Diesel, Bio-diesel or Multi-fuel motorcycle please try and make the effort to attend as this is the only event of its kind in the U.K. It's the only place to swop ideas and see some really interesting & cutting edge motorcycle engineering. You will also see some very interesting creations! This event is FREE and open to all who wish to attend but camping fees apply. Camping costs per night (if like 2011?) are likely to be in the region of £5 for one man tent, £7.50 for 2 man tent and £10 for 4 man or bigger tent. (To be confirmed!!) Please pay over the bar for your camping giving your reg No. and let the landlord know how many night's you plan to camp. See you there! Info: Dying to Ride is a motorcycle awareness group founded by myself shortly after my husband Rob, was fatally injured in a motorcycle/car collision. We put on presentations about motorcycle awareness on military bases, in high school learner driver classes, and at other events where drivers of other vehicles are present. We are also available for company safety meetings, picnics or other events where a message of motorcycle awareness can be presented to drivers of other vehicles. Dying to Ride will be holding its 2nd annual Motorcycle Awareness and Memorial for riders lost in motorcycle accidents on the second Saturday of each June. This year’s, our second, will be held on June 9th with a night of music and camping. You  are invited to join

Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride

Info: Three Nations - United In Remembrance Of Our Fallen Heroes.
A remembrance ride is organised for Saturday 30th June 2012 between Cambridge Services on the A14 and Madingley American Cemetery to the west of Cambridge, UK. A short service will be held On the same day, with a spitfire flypast. Further remembrance rides will take place to RAF Memorials in Terrell, Texas; Mesa, Arizona; Ponca City, Oklahoma; Miami, Oklahoma and New Hampshire in the United States and two further rides taking place in Ottawa and Calgary in Canada. This is a charity ride with all UK net profit going to the Poppy Appeal in support of our troops. Online registration is available from our website.
